POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing Fireplace systems of various fuel types. Including but not limited to, Gas, Wood, and Pellet, Stoves, Fireplaces, and Inserts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Inspects Fireplace systems.
- Performs regularly scheduled maintenance on Fireplace systems.
- Installs Fireplace systems in new construction and residential settings.
- Diagnosis components to resolve operating problems according to manufacture specifications
- Tests electrical circuits and components for continuity.
- Reassembles and tests equipment following repairs.
- Repairs or replaces defective equipment, components, or wiring.
- Obtains and maintains required certifications and training.
- Comply with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures and the maintenance of a clean work area.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in facilities, maintenance, trades.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Experience with power tools
- Ability to climb ladders, work on roofs, and lift 40 pounds
- Ability to handle pressure
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Forklift Certification required (certification can be obtained once employed)
- High school diploma equivalent
- Two years’ experience in related industry preferred. (Facilities/Maintenance/, construction, etc.)
- Two years’ customer service
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- This is a physical position that requires overall good health and strength
- Ability to lift to 80lbs.
- Must be able to climb a ladder and work on roofs
- Ability to consistently lift, carry, push, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, reach and work with hands and fingers
