Position Summary: The Grounds and Warehouse Manager is the unsung hero of our operation. This role is responsible for maintaining the organization, cleanliness, and efficiency of our warehouse and exterior property. From managing inventory and receiving shipments to prepping installation orders and keeping our grounds pristine, this team member ensures that our business runs like a well-oiled stove.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Warehouse Operations
- Inventory Management: Receive deliveries, inspect items for damage, check in products, and shelve items accurately. Conduct regular inventory checks for sales staff and prepare orders for installation crews.
- Order Fulfillment: Load items into customers’ vehicles, ensuring products are in excellent condition and match order specifications.
- Delivery Coordination: Liaise with trucking companies to manage incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Staging System: Manage and continue to look for improvements in our installation staging system. This system requires routine checks of installation dates and communication with our field operations supervisor and field service manager.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move heavy and awkward items, adhering to safety protocols.
- Efficiency Improvements: Identify and implement strategies to enhance warehouse safety, organization, and efficiency.
Grounds Maintenance
- Daily Upkeep: Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the parking lot, walkways, and landscaping by blowing debris, mowing grass, pulling weeds, and performing minor maintenance tasks (e.g., changing light bulbs, air filters).
- Property Oversight: Identify and report maintenance needs, such as painting or pressure washing, to ensure the storefront reflects our commitment to quality.
- Equipment Use: Operate small groundskeeping equipment, including lawnmowers, weed eaters, and blowers, with competence and care.
Additional Duties
- Installation Support: Occasionally assist installation teams as a helper when needed, leveraging knowledge of inventory to ensure correct items are provided.
- General Maintenance: Perform minor building maintenance tasks as needed to support the facility’s functionality and appearance.
- Adaptability: Respond to unexpected challenges, reorganize tasks as priorities shift, and learn new skills to meet evolving business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in warehouse, logistics, or facilities maintenance preferred.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate warehouse equipment (forklift certification a plus).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Basic knowledge of groundskeeping and building maintenance tools.
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
